in Cardigan Bay

Welcome to New Quay Boat Trips,
home of Dolphin Spotting Boat Trips in New Quay, West Wales.
Established in 1955 by Winston Evans, we are proud to be Ceredigion's longest-running boat trip company, taking generations of families out to discover the dolphins, wildlife and spectacular coastline of Cardigan Bay.
Departing from New Quay Harbour in Ceredigion,
our fully guided boat trips explore the Cardigan Bay Special Area of Conservation, one of the best-known places in Wales for spotting wild bottlenose dolphins.
Choose from 1-hour, 1½-hour and longer dolphin and wildlife trips, evening cruises and private charters aboard our fleet, including Suncatcher, Dreamcatcher and our much-loved Ermol boats.
With over 70 years of experience, knowledgeable guides and experienced skippers, New Quay Boat Trips – Dolphin Spotting Boat Trips offers visitors an unforgettable way to experience the wildlife, scenery and maritime heritage of Cardigan Bay.

lobster pot lifting trips!
NEXT availability over half term
Our ‘lobster pot lifting’ trips are a great opportunity for children to learn more about some of the marine life in Cardigan Bay whilst having a hands-on experience.
Did you know... this type of trip is a throwback to our original boat trips when Winston Evans and his father would take people out on their fishing boat to show the public what was in their lobster pots.

Learn about about the marine creatures and the fishing industry in Wales during the trips and of course looking out for and learning about our beautiful Bottlenose Dolphins too.
