The two-hour trip goes twice as far and is out twice as long so has more chances of a sighing but also visits a particularly good spot which is a natural feeding area for dolphins. So when dolphins aren’t in New Quay, that is the best place to go looking.

Yes, depending on the time of year, we have bird colonies and Atlantic grey seals plus the coastline is spectacular in its own right.

Due to Covid-19 it is sadly no longer possible to hand out our colouring-in sheets and pencils, however we always do our best to point out all the interesting things to look at.

We are really sorry but we can no longer assist passengers who use a wheelchair. This is regrettable but as we are not able to place our hands on passengers, we cannot guarantee their safety. Furthermore, we cannot even assist people with any vision or mobility issues.

If you are bringing a pushchair there are two options for you, you can either fold it down and take it onboard or drop it off at our booking office on the way down the pier. It is probably best for you to choose based on the size of the chair and how early you arrive.FYI, the pier is an old flagstone pier which has suffered with time from movement and is very bumpy so you won’t be able rush across it with a child in a pushchair it would be best to carry the child.

Covid 19 – You do not need to wear a mask but you can if you want.
A light coat which will keep you dry and keep the wind off you is very sensible and in colder times something warm, in hotter times, suncream, and bring water.
