The perfect way to celebrate a special occasion while you are visiting New Quay is on a private charter, and is very good value. The Dreamcatcher is a new addition allowing us to offer private charters for small groups up to twelve. All around viewing is possible thanks to the small wheelhouse being in the middle, this means if the dolphins are at the front, you can be too.

Go Dolphin Watching in Wales!
A Dolphin Spotting Boat Trip offers a fun, educational experience for all ages! Enjoy an unrivalled experience from start to finish. Our boats sail exclusively within the Cardigan Bay Special Area of Conservation, home to hundreds of bottlenose dolphins. We are a ‘Sea Watch Foundation’ Recommended Boat Operator’. All our skippers are WISE qualified ensuring your boat trip will be conducted in accordance with the marine code of conduct. Our trips are fully guided, that means you can learn about the local history, geology and wildlife from our wildlife guide!
Cardigan Bay is a large inlet of the Irish Sea, indenting the west coast of Wales between Bardsey Island, Gwynedd in the north, and Strumble Head, Pembrokeshire at its southern end. It is the largest bay in Wales.
Wildlife sightings are not always guaranteed!
Our multi passenger boats are purpose built for your enjoyment of the wildlife and scenery, the tiered bench seating runs along the whole length of the boat offering excellent views of the many seabirds that nest and feed from the cliffs above as well as the dolphins and seals. The unique hull design makes our Ermol boats more stable in choppy seas and also extremely effective in the shallow New Quay harbour. Both Ermols have cushioned seating and a canopy over half of the passenger seating. The Ermol V, which is running the 1.5 hour trips, has toilet on board.
The Dreamcatcher has an all round viewing experience with an island wheelhouse. With 9m of deck either side it is ideal to walk around and see all that there is to see. Seating onboard will be allocated with group sizes however everyone is able to move about the boat freely unrestricted with 360° access.
